Comedian Kim Dae-hee was taken aback by the speed of his daughter Kim Sa-yoon's romantic relationship.
On the 8th episode of tvN STORY and t-cast E Channel's My Child's Romance, the final choices of the children were finally made. Lee Cheol-min's daughter Lee Shin-hyang collapsed when she learned that Lee Tak-su's feelings had gone to Jeon Su-wan, the daughter of Jeon Hee-cheol.
Lee Tak-su said, "Today's date was random, so I thought I should talk with Jeon Su-wan, and she came. I felt Jeon Su-wan might be the right one for me," closing his conversation with Lee Shin-hyang, and Lee Shin-hyang replied, "After hearing the tape yesterday, I thought Tak-su might decide his feelings too, but somehow it felt reversed through today's random date. I felt regret," she said.
The next day, the final date for the women's choice began. Unlike her shy start, Jeon Su-wan became a bit more proactive and asked Lee Tak-su out on a date. Lee Shin-hyang said, "My feelings were the same from the beginning. Hong Seok-ju was caught between Ahn Seon-jun and Park Jun-ho. He chose Park Jun-ho because he wanted to talk with him, but Park Jun-ho said, "I think it was good to try talking. But whether you're rational toward me, I don't know." It felt ambiguous and tricky.
Jo Gap-kyung screamed, "Seok-ju! Don't meet a bad man! Don't become like a mother!" Park Ho-san defended his son, saying, "Jun-ho is not a bad man."
Ahn Seon-jun was ultimately not chosen, but toward the end he honestly revealed his feelings and showed he wouldn't give up. Ahn Yu-seong said, "Seeing the beginning and the end, he has grown. Even though he's in Japan now, I think Seon-jun would do well anywhere. The important thing is that he rose to become the 'national son-in-law' — that's the most important," expressing pride in his son's growth.
Kim Sa-yoon went on a date with Lee Seong-jun. While making perfume, they promised, "Let's make it in winter," "Let's make it in spring," suggesting a future together. Kim Dae-hee could not hide his mixed feelings.
Kim Sa-yoon and Lee Seong-jun made the final choice. Lee Seong-jun said, "The five-day period has ended, but I think we still have time ahead of us," and Kim Sa-yoon said more actively, "Hello?
