Actor Jo Woo-jin rose to No. 1 in actor brand reputation with his strong performance in the film "Boss."
On the 9th, the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute said that its big data analysis of movie actor brand reputation for October 2025 showed Jo Woo-jin at No. 1, Lee Byung-hun at No. 2 and Kim Young-kwang at No. 3.
The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute analyzed 151,613,446 pieces of brand big data from 100 movie actors beloved by consumers in Korea, collected between Sept. 9, 2025, and Oct. 9, 2025, classifying consumer and brand relationships and applying a big data reputation algorithm. Compared with 159,006,696 pieces of movie actor brand big data in September, it decreased by 4.65%.
The brand reputation index is a metric derived by extracting brand big data and analyzing consumer behavior, classifying it into participation value, communication value, media value, community value and social value, and applying weights for positive and negative ratios. In the movie actor brand reputation index, consumer brand consumption patterns were analyzed using participation index, media index, communication index and community index.
The top 30 movie actor brand reputations for October 2025 were Jo Woo-jin, Lee Byung-hun, Kim Young-kwang, Song Joong-ki, Han Suk-kyu, Song Seung-heon, Kim Da-mi, Cho Jung-seok, Gang Dong-won, Son Ye-jin, Lee Jin-wook, Ma Dong-seok, Chun Woo-hee, Go Youn-jung, Park Bo-young, Lee Jung-jae, Park Yong-woo, Jo Yeo-jung, Kim Woo-bin, Lee Joon-hyuk, Uhm Jung-hwa, Yim Siwan, Ha Jung-woo, Lee Sun-bin, Lee Jong-suk, Lee Young-ae, Hyun Bin, Jung Haein, Han Ji-min and Gong Yoo.
Jo Woo-jin, ranked No. 1 in movie actor brand reputation, had a participation index of 575,610, a media index of 1,061,953, a communication index of 1,341,885 and a community index of 1,283,038, yielding a brand reputation index of 4,262,486.
In second place, the Lee Byung-hun brand had a participation index of 867,872, a media index of 1,183,174, a communication index of 845,597 and a community index of 1,231,969, yielding a brand reputation index of 4,128,612.
In third place, the Kim Young-kwang brand had a participation index of 1,040,977, a media index of 1,395,432, a communication index of 579,379 and a community index of 882,642, yielding a brand reputation index of 3,898,430.
In fourth place, the Song Joong-ki brand had a participation index of 622,522, a media index of 851,929, a communication index of 603,967 and a community index of 1,590,698, yielding a brand reputation index of 3,669,116.
In fifth place, the Han Suk-kyu brand had a participation index of 546,994, a media index of 724,534, a communication index of 917,472 and a community index of 1,285,470, yielding a brand reputation index of 3,474,470.
Koo Chang-hwan, director of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, said the big data analysis of movie actor brand reputation for October 2025 showed the Jo Woo-jin brand at No. 1. Analyzing the movie actor brand category, compared with 159,006,696 pieces of movie actor brand big data in September, it decreased by 4.65%. In detailed analysis, brand consumption fell 2.95%, brand issues fell 4.25%, brand communication fell 12.08% and brand diffusion fell 1.74%, he said in his reputation analysis.
He added that the Jo Woo-jin brand, which ranked No. 1 in movie actor brand reputation in October 2025, showed high scores in link analysis for "good chemistry, natural, plaintive," and in keyword analysis for "Boss, The Mantis: Original Sin, charisma." In positive-negative ratio analysis, it recorded a positive ratio of 91.28%, the big data analysis showed.
