Actress Sunwoo Yong-yeo gave heartfelt advice to Kim Sung-eun, who played her granddaughter "Midal-i," on Soonpoong Obstetrics and Gynecology.
On the 8th, a video titled "'Married four times' Park Young-gyu! Opening up for the first time to mother-in-law Sunwoo Yong-yeo (Soonpoong Obstetrics and Gynecology reunion)" was posted on the YouTube channel "Soonpoong Sunwoo Yong-yeo."
That day Sunwoo Yong-yeo spoke with Kim Sung-eun, who had appeared as her granddaughter on Soonpoong Obstetrics and Gynecology. Sunwoo Yong-yeo regretted, "She acted so well," but added, "But she disappeared after studying abroad."
Kim Sung-eun said, "I went because they told me, 'Learn what you want to learn and rest,' but my father was running a business, and suddenly, in a moment," and added, "So I had a dream of acting, but in reality that was impossible. I did this and that and then came back and am acting again."
Sunwoo Yong-yeo encouraged her, saying, "The reason is she acts well. She's been doing a lot of theater lately. Your character will come out again. When that happens, you just have to fight."
She especially offered heartfelt well-wishes, saying, "People get their time in life about three times. The first came when you were young. The time in the middle didn't come so it came to make you realize something. I think a good time will come from now on. So fighting."
Meanwhile, Kim Sung-eun debuted as a child actor playing Midal-i in the sitcom Soonpoong Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the Midal-i character became a sensational hit.
Afterward, Kim Sung-eun continued acting in productions such as Alley People and Potato Star 2013QR3, and in 2020 she even challenged herself as a trot singer on Mister Trot 2.
Also, Kim Sung-eun married a husband two years her junior on Jul. 2, 2024.
