My Child's Love, the celebrity children on My Child's Love, wrapped up their five-day journey on the 5th and were colored pink.
On the Aug. 8 broadcast of tvN STORY and T-cast E Channel's My Child's Love, the children were shown either winning love after a final choice or growing significantly.
Among them, the appearance of Lee Cheol-min's daughter Lee Shin-hyang was dazzling. She appeared with an image like a delicate wildflower and seemed to exchange feelings with actor Lee Jong-hyuk's son Lee Tak-su, but as Tak-su's heart leaned toward Jeon Hee-chul's daughter Jeon Su-wan, Shin-hyang could only fall apart on the day before the final day.
Shin-hyang confessed her unchanged feelings, saying, "My feelings have been the same from the start. Just because someone you like becomes attracted to someone else doesn't mean my feelings suddenly disappear or that I suddenly like someone else."
But the next day, when the last date became an opportunity where the woman had to choose, Shin-hyang hesitated. Lee Cheol-min had predicted his daughter would push her feelings forward, but Shin-hyang did not. Shin-hyang said, "I know Su-wan and Tak-su's feelings and I didn't want to make things uncomfortable," showing admirable consideration.
Jo Gap-kyung praised her without reservation, saying, "Shin-hyang is someone who considers the other person's feelings and knows when to act and when not to at the end. That's being considerate of others in life. She really grew up well. She's really great."
Ahn Seon-jun steadfastly revealed his feelings for Hong Seok-ju. Jo Gap-kyung said, "I like that kind of man," showing how much she liked him, but daughter Hong Seok-ju chose to date Park Ho-san's son Park Jun-ho. Ahn Seon-jun remained at the lodging looking briefly downcast.
But he did not avoid the final choice. Rather, Ahn Seon-jun said, "If I had given up or avoided it every time I had to choose, this time I laid everything on the line honestly. I think I can leave having grown a lot," showing quiet strength. Ahn Yoo-sung praised his son, saying, "Seeing the growth from start to finish, even though he's in Japan now, I think Seon-jun would do well anywhere. The most important thing is that he has become the 'nation's son-in-law.'"
Hong Seok-ju and Park Jun-ho, reflecting on their own immaturity, gave up on the final choice.
Two couples were chosen in the final selection. They were Lee Jong-hyuk's son Lee Tak-su and Jeon Hee-chul's daughter Jeon Su-wan. Su-wan gradually learned to express her feelings more after initially being passive and quiet.
Jeon Hee-chul expressed gratitude to the daughters of the other participants, saying, "I heard Seok-ju and Shin-hyang had many conversations, and after hearing good things from the older girls, Su-wan gained confidence, approached Tak-su, and seemed to have more confidence."
And on My Child, it seemed that Lee Jong-won's son Lee Sung-jun and Kim Dae-hee's daughter Kim Sa-yoon, who were writing a warm pink story, were already promising a future. Kim Sa-yoon said, "Hi? I hope the time we spent together over five days is remembered fondly. I've liked you since you first appeared, and I hope even after we leave here we have time to get to know each other more," adding, "Let's talk more from now on." Lee Sung-jun said, "The five-day period is over, but I think we still have time ahead of us."
At that, Jo Gap-kyung marveled, "A wedding invitation will fly in," and Lee Jong-won praised Kim Sa-yoon to a stunned Kim Dae-hee, saying, "From the start I liked Kim Sa-yoon and didn't look at anyone else. My son is good." Kim Dae-hee was horrified watching his daughter take a man's hand as soon as their hearts connected. Kim Dae-hee said, "I saw Lee Sung-jun and aside from being pure and kind, if my daughter likes him then I like him too," then laughingly called Lee Jong-won "father-in-law."
Meanwhile, Kim Seong-ju encouraged anticipation by saying, "My Child's Love has ended. Please look forward to season 2."
