Actor Jin Tae-hyun shared an update that he is recovering after thyroid cancer surgery.
Jin Tae-hyun said on the 8th, Hello, this is Jin Tae-hyun. My wife and I have been so busy preparing and training for next year's marathon races. Is everyone enjoying the holiday? If the holiday is too long and you just lie down, that's bad — take walks, jog, do a little exercise and enjoy the holiday.
He added, I couldn't do high-intensity training for three months this year because of cancer surgery, and I'm so upset about that. I was really so upset that I cried. Because I could have challenged a single this year, I was more upset about being sick than anything. Still, after the surgery I kept doing long-distance jogging and basic training, and my body has improved a lot.
He then said, My mileage is too low, so this year I'm thinking of attempting target times only for 10k and the half. I tried my best to restore my condition, but thyroid cancer is cancer, so I have to go slowly — even a cold or COVID throws us into chaos, right? He said his goal is to reach under 66k and focus on a plant-forward diet and health management by next year's Dongma.
Finally, he encouraged, Start running — having a goal in life is such a beautiful thing.
Meanwhile, Jin Tae-hyun and Park Si-eun married in 2015.
