HYBE and Geffen Records' global girl group KATSEYE is riding a wave of popularity on Billboard in the U.S.
According to the latest U.S. Billboard charts released on Oct. 11 (local date) and published on the 7th (local time), KATSEYE's second EP "BEAUTIFUL CHAOS" track "Gabriela" reached No. 50 on the Hot 100. It is a rank lifted six spots from the previous week and its 11th week on the chart.
Another track from the album, "Gnarly," which was first released as a digital single in April, re-entered the Hot 100 at No. 95. This marks another chart rebound more than five months after the song's release.
Led by those two songs and with the album widely loved, the EP "BEAUTIFUL CHAOS" landed at No. 39 on the Billboard 200. KATSEYE has remained on that chart for 14 consecutive weeks since reaching No. 4 on the July 12 chart.
KATSEYE's debut EP "SIS (Soft Is Strong)" is also on the rise. This week it ranked No. 34 on Billboard's Top Album Sales and No. 30 on Top Current Album Sales. Those charts rank only one week's physical album sales regardless of genre, and the reappearance of "SIS (Soft Is Strong)," released in Aug. 2024, is notable.
KATSEYE is also showing strong presence on Spotify and the U.K. Official Charts. On Spotify's Weekly Top Songs Global (Sept. 26–Oct. 2) chart, "Gabriela" ranked No. 10, and on the U.K. Official Singles Top 100 (Oct. 3–9) it reached No. 39, setting the group's highest ranking on that chart.
KATSEYE's long-running popularity was sparked by steady performances at large festivals and award shows. In fact, their performances at Lollapalooza Chicago in Aug. and Summer Sonic 2025 served as a turning point for rebounds on various major charts.
Also, winning the PUSH Performance of the Year at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards was one factor that drew attention to them.
KATSEYE will embark on their first solo North American tour, scheduled for 16 shows in 13 cities starting in Nov. They are also confirmed to participate in next year's largest U.S. music festival, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, held in Apr.
