HYBE global group &TEAM ahead of their debut in K-pop's home country, Korea, has promised abundant content.
&TEAM (Eui-ju, Huma, K, Nicholas, Yuma, Jo, Harua, Taki, Maki) posted a promotion scheduler for their Korean mini album 1st 'Back to Life' on their official SNS on the 7th.
According to it, &TEAM will follow the mood teaser "BREATH" version on the 10th with concept photos and concept clips from the 13th to the 17th. Then on the 20th they will release a track sampler, on the 21st the tracklist, and on the 22nd a highlight medley. Then on the 27th at 12 a.m. the title track music video teaser will be released, and that same day at 6 p.m. the title track audio and music video will be pre-released. Finally, on the 28th at 6 p.m. &TEAM's Korean mini album 1st 'Back to Life' will be released worldwide.
Inspired by the album title (Back to Life), which means "to come back to life," the scheduler's graphic design visualizing vital signs is eye-catching. Alongside a waveform graph reminiscent of a heartbeat, each schedule is displayed, signaling that &TEAM's new chapter has opened as if life has awakened.
Following the flow of "Breath," "Gaze," and "Roar," the narrative of &TEAM awakening is also anticipated. Next to a box plot engraved with the team's identity "Wolf DNA" and the phrase "Back to Life," a mark indicating that they "Awaken" as the moon waxes was added, hinting at a further evolved course for &TEAM.
&TEAM was formed in 2022 through HYBE's global boy group debut project '&AUDITION - The Howling -'. Their third single released in April, 'Go in Blind,' surpassed cumulative shipments of 1 million copies and received its first "million" certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (as of July).
Japanese media are also paying attention to &TEAM. A six-part documentary program following their roughly 100-day journey before their Korean debut (&TEAM 100-day close coverage: Howling out to the World) recently aired its first episode on Nippon TV. In the program's first episode, also released on &TEAM's official YouTube channel, the members said they "will not forget to be grateful to LUNÉ (the fandom name) who have walked with us, and with the determination to start again from the beginning, we want to make our Korean debut a success."
