"Ms. Incognito" Jeon Yeo-bin's life reset project has a new mission: getting close to the villagers.
Episode 4 of the Genie TV original "Ms. Incognito" (writer Hyun Gyuri, director Park Yoo-young), which aired on cable channel ENA on the afternoon of the 7th, showed Kim Young-ran (played by Jeon Yeo-bin) struggling to avoid the villagers' suspicions and win their favor, delivering thrilling entertainment. As a result, episode 4 recorded national ratings of 5.1% and metropolitan area ratings of 4.6%, once again setting a new personal best and continuing its upward trend. (According to Nielsen Korea)
After barely shaking off Jeon Dong-min (played by Chin Young), who was watching her closely, Kim Young-ran persuaded kindergarten principal Lee Mi-seon (played by Seo Jae-hee) and decided to stay in Muchang village as a kindergarten teacher for three months. But Kim Young-ran, who lacked both training and experience to teach children, made them cry from the first class and drew Jeon Dong-min's cold glare.
When Jeon Dong-min asked if she had come down after causing trouble in Seoul, Kim Young-ran coldly snapped, "You cross the line a lot." But having caused mishaps and been scolded all day from her first day at work, Kim Young-ran's spirits had quietly shrunk. Her kind gaze as she tidied teaching materials in an empty classroom without children evoked sympathy.
Not only Jeon Dong-min but also the villagers began to show great interest in teacher Bu-semi (played by Jeon Yeo-bin). If Bu-semi left, the kindergarten could close, so for the children's sake Bu-semi had to remain in Muchang village. Misreading the villagers' goodwill as closeness when they tried to befriend her, Kim Young-ran drew a firm line even at a simple invitation to eat.
Believing the villagers suspected her, Kim Young-ran confided this to Lee Don (played by Seo Hyun-woo) and discussed solutions. With Ga Seon-young (played by Jang Yoon-ju) even filing a missing person report, Lee Don judged that if Kim Young-ran continued to arouse suspicion among Muchang villagers, it might be difficult to last the three months, and assigned a new mission: get close to the villagers.
After hearing Lee Don, Kim Young-ran proposed a welcome party first to build friendships with the villagers and avoid suspicion, stirring up the village. Preparations for the event, from various foods to a makeshift playground, proceeded smoothly until Jeon Dong-min visited Kim Young-ran's house, creating a subtle tension because a CCTV feed monitoring the entire village was playing on Kim Young-ran's laptop.
Knowing that Jeon Dong-min already suspected Bu-semi's identity, Kim Young-ran desperately tried to close the laptop while pressed up against him, since it would be obvious if he saw the CCTV feed. Unexpectedly trapped in Kim Young-ran's arms, Jeon Dong-min held his breath and froze, and the close proximity between the two heightened the tension.
To make matters worse, Baek Hye-ji (played by Joo Hyun-young), the housekeeper of the Ga-sung Group mansion who had discovered Kim Young-ran's hiding place, appeared in Muchang village and shocked viewers. Kim Young-ran froze at Baek Hye-ji's unexpected appearance, who knew her identity, leaving viewers wondering whether Baek Hye-ji's presence will help or harm Kim Young-ran.
