The 100% pure comedy film First Ride, directed by Nam Dae-jung, distributed by ㈜SHOWBOX, and produced by Brain Shower and TH Story, which opens on Oct. 29 (Wed), released a second set of character posters showcasing the chaotic chemistry among the characters.
The film First Ride released character posters where you can see at a glance the diverse charms of popular actors Kang Ha-neul, Kim Young-kwang, Cha Eun-woo, Kang Young-seok and Han Sun-hwa. The figures in the released posters, drawn as if stuck buffering, hint at the birth of distinctive characters.
First, Tae-jung (Kang Ha-neul) is a character whose resume includes a perfect college entrance exam score and who shows obsessive mania for whatever hooks him. Like the epithet "the perfect guy," even his outfits are immaculate, which heightens curiosity about how Tae-jung will fall apart while with his 24-year-old friends. Do-jin (Kim Young-kwang) is the kind of person who, once his brake is off, runs ahead without restraint and has an innocent personality. In the poster, Do-jin, true to the epithet "the lacking guy," reveals an innocent charm armed with a bright smile and free-spirited fashion items.
Yeon-min (Cha Eun-woo) is a character best described as "the handsome guy." He shines with presence through overwhelming visuals that need no explanation. Geum-bok (Kang Young-seok) fits the concept of "the quirky guy," showing cheerful and free energy like no one else with reggae hair and unique poses, capturing the audience's attention. Finally, Ok-sim (Han Sun-hwa) is a bulldozer-like character who heads straight for Tae-jung, and like the epithet "the shameless guy," she is bold yet lovable. Ok-sim's endearing shamelessness adds a bubbly fun to the film.
