Kim Jae-joong mentioned the generational gap with his parents.
The web variety show "Go So-young's Pubstaurant," released on the 6th, featured singer and agency head Kim Jae-joong as a guest, where he shared stories.
That day Go So-young said, "He really gives his father a lot of pocket money. Because of that, people around him went crazy," and archival footage showed a clip from "Pyeonstaurant" in which Kim Jae-joong handed his father a bundle of 50,000-won bills.
Go So-young spread her five fingers and said, "Judging by the thickness, it's like this," and Kim Jae-joong confirmed that the amount was correct. Go So-young described, "I'm so happy he's a dutiful son, and they seemed harmonious," and Kim Jae-joong mentioned "It's hard. That's the thing," referring to his unique burden.
Kim Jae-joong said, "I do give them a credit card and I pay their phone bills. In any case, I don't carry cash much, and they don't consider digital money to be cash," and he confessed that "I have to withdraw cash and bring it to them, so it's a hassle."
Go So-young said, "But when you receive cash, it feels somehow affectionate. I'm also nostalgic, so I still go to the bank. I go to the bank to balance my passbook, and I still use an OTP card. I also carry a coin purse," she explained.
