A family feud at SM Entertainment erupted at the Idol Star Athletics Championships (ISAC).
The second part of the 2025 Idol Star Athletics Championships (abbreviated ISAC), broadcast the afternoon of the 5th, revealed the penalty shootout semifinals.
In an earlier match, a contest between RIIZE and Nowus was arranged. RIIZE advanced to the final after goalkeeper Eun-seok made a save and So-hee and Seong-chan, nicknamed "Neimar," scored in sequence.
In the following semifinal, "band-dol" Lucy faced NCT Wish. NCT Wish was considered a strong favorite to win. BTOB's Lee Chang-seop at the broadcast desk said it would be "a family feud at SM Entertainment," heightening the tension.
Lucy member Jo Won-sang misstepped with a "triangle kick," and NCT Wish's Yoo-shi struck the post, resulting in a tie. NCT Wish goalkeeper Sakuya blocked Jo Won-sang's shot again to secure a spot in the final. The prediction of an "SM family feud" thus became reality, drawing laughs mixed with anticipation.
