Actor Hwang Bo-ra shared the behind-the-scenes story of her quick return via home shopping.
On the 7th, Hwang Bo-ra told the story of her return after childbirth on her personal YouTube channel "Boraiety."
While discussing various topics that day, Hwang Bo-ra surprised everyone by saying, "I made an ultra-fast return about two to three weeks after giving birth." It turned out the offer was for home shopping, not acting.
Hwang Bo-ra said, "Last summer I received a big offer in my life, and it was from home shopping," adding, "I said no because I wasn't ready yet, but they said they'd pay a lot. The appearance fee was enormous," explaining the reason for her ultra-fast return.
She went on, "So I did it, but I had to study about fabrics and spend time with the baby, and it was driving me crazy," expressing her difficulties. She said she was actually diagnosed with ADHD.
Saying she started home shopping while taking medication, Hwang Bo-ra recalled, "It was heartbreaking. It was so hard," and added, "Home shopping doesn't have a teleprompter, so I had to memorize and say everything. The audio can't go blank, but at first I froze and stayed still," recounting a dizzying moment.
Hwang Bo-ra said, "There was chaos upstairs; I thought I would be fired, so I studied every day on the weekends," and added, "I did it for about six months. Watching the MDs stay up all night and suffer made me reflect on my life. Now I try to do my best no matter what I'm assigned," sharing an anecdote about changing her mindset that drew attention.
