Lee Sang-yi successfully wrapped up the 2025 Lee Sang-yi Japan fan meeting "I Sangidesu (I Sangimnida)", held on the 5th at Tower Records Shibuya in Tokyo, Japan.
The Japan fan meeting "I Sangidesu," which showed global momentum by selling out the second session on the day tickets went on sale, is a literal Japanese translation of the Korean fan meeting title "I Sangimnida (I Sangimnida)," and was staged with the concept that Lee Sang-yi, who is the class representative of the Lee Sang-yi department at Imagination University, visits the university's Japan campus to participate in a cultural exchange program.
Opening with Lee Sang-yi's opening talk, the Japan fan meeting was filled with the fans' passionate cheers. Lee Sang-yi warmed the atmosphere with sweet guitar playing and singing. He also learned Japanese catchphrases and challenges, tasted convenience store snacks recommended by fans, and gifted his favorite Korean convenience store snacks, creating a pleasant mood. In addition, he showcased Korean culture by performing the Bongsan talchum mask dance and a Nanta performance, adding to the significance.
Finally, Lee Sang-yi folded a handwritten letter he had written in Japanese into an airplane and released it, and left a deep impression on fans with an ending that displayed the contents on the stage screen. Word has it that, following the Korean fan meeting, the Japan fan meeting program also reflected ideas that Lee Sang-yi actively suggested.
Lee Sang-yi said, "At first I was very nervous, but thanks to the fans and the staff I was able to complete my first fan meeting in Japan safely and well. I sincerely thank everyone who came to the fan meeting. From now on I will be a good actor you can be proud of. I will see you again. I am Lee Sang-yi," delivering heartfelt impressions of the fan meeting.
