The group ARrC made a strong impression in its first appearance on the holiday variety show Idol Star Athletics Championships (ISA).
ARrC (Andy, Choi Han, Doha, Hyunmin, Jibin, Kkien, Rioto) appeared on MBC's 2025 Chuseok special Idol Star Athletics Championships (hereinafter "ISA"), which aired the afternoon of the 6th.
Making their ISA debut, ARrC displayed tight teamwork with their characteristic bold energy. During the warm-up phase, ARrC matched the choreography of NCT 127's "Hero," showing members' coordination and unity and demonstrating a strong presence.
Next, members Rioto and Choi Han competed in the men's 60-meter track event. In particular, Choi Han, who stands 184 cm tall, attracted attention before the race as the commentators' one pick because, given the nature of track events that favor larger feet, his foot size of 290 mm was seen as advantageous.
Proving this, Choi Han finished first in preliminary heat 1 with a time of 8.27 seconds to advance to the final, ultimately claiming third place after a close contest. Despite it being his first appearance, Choi Han impressed viewers with a perfect start and explosive speed, leaving a strong impression with his remarkable athleticism.
Viewers reacted explosively, saying, "I didn't know their athleticism was this good. I think I've become a fan all over again," "I loved seeing a different side from the stage," "I never expected them to look so cool during warm-ups," and "They seem so composed despite it being their first appearance."
With their recently released third mini-album HOPE, ARrC opened a new frontier in oriental pop with distinctive music and performances. In addition to holding showcases in key Asian countries such as Japan and Indonesia, appearing on popular local variety and talk shows, and standing out in various areas including global brand collaborations and ambassadorships, ARrC has even conquered sports variety shows, continuing to excel across fields as a new "athlete-idol".
