Singer Jang Mun-bok shared an update for the first time in seven months.
Jang Mun-bok recently asked, "Hello, this is Mun-bok! Long time no see? Have you been well? After a spring full of excitement and a hot summer, now that autumn has arrived, I'm leaving news after seven months. How were your seven months?"
He added, "I have many impressions after starting life at my assigned unit. After receiving my initial unit assignment, I began as Private Jang Mun-bok in the supply company, logistics support battalion, 12th Infantry Division of the Republic of Korea Army, and time has passed so that I am now a senior with one or two juniors, gaining a sense of responsibility."
He also said, "When things are difficult and tough, we help each other, and on days with happy or good news we can be happy together. Before coming to my assigned unit, thankfully through awards received in the latter-term training, I was promoted early by two months starting in September from my previous rank and became a corporal."
Jang Mun-bok pledged, "The presence of 'people' has been comfort and great strength to me in what I thought would be a difficult and tough military life. You are the same to me. I will continue my service always remembering my precious 'people' who have shaped the past, the present and the future."
Finally, he urged, "Please remember Oct. 1 as 'Armed Forces Day,' recalling the efforts of our proud service members who defend this country day and night with their youth. The weather has become much colder. With large temperature swings between day and night, everyone please be careful of colds!"
Meanwhile, Jang Mun-bok became known after appearing on Mnet's Superstar K2 in 2010 and gaining the nickname 'Hip President,' and he challenged idol life by appearing on Mnet's Produce 101 Season 2. Later, Jang Mun-bok debuted and was active in 2019 as a member of the boy group Limitless.
