'5th generation super rookie' HITGS(힛지스)'s new album lifts the veil.
HITGS will release its first mini album Things we love : I(띵스 위 러브 : 아이) at 6 p.m. on the 6th through various online music sites.
'Things we love : I' is the new release that comes about three months after HITGS's single CHARIZZMA(카리즈마), which was released last July, and is the second installment of 'Things we love,' following the three-part single series released after their debut. Through I (INNOCENT), which signifies an unadorned and honest appearance, the album contains HITGS's unique pure confidence.
The title track HAPPY(해피) is a pop-disco track that blends a funky bassline, lively drums and polished synth sounds. Under the message that being pure allows one to be more honest than anyone, HITGS captured the unadorned self-expression energy of teenagers in the song, and their powerful and charming vocals are expected to deliver instant earworm appeal.
In addition, the album is filled with five songs in total: A-HA!(아하!), whose addictive sound and impactful development amplify its trendy charm; PAGE(페이지), which highlights HITGS's understated vocals and a dreamy yet refined sound; GROSS(그로스), released earlier as a single; and CHARIZZMA.
Earlier, HITGS captured attention by releasing the music video teaser for the title track HAPPY. The released video revealed part of the title track's audio and, for the first time, the full-group performance, drawing an enthusiastic response from fans. Also, surreal, animation-like effects add a unique and refreshing mood, heightening curiosity about the full music video.
HITGS has delivered a distinctive impact at every stage with flawless harmony and synergy. This time, they are expected to firmly establish HITGS's musical color by showcasing upgraded musical abilities, solid live performances and innate rhythm sense.
Meanwhile, HITGS's first mini album Things we love : I will be available to listen to on various online music sites starting at 6 p.m. on the 6th.
