Singer Lee Jin-jae will be the third OST performer for the drama "Danjoe".
Lee Jin-jae releases the third OST "Sigh" for the Dramax X Wavve original drama "Danjoe" today (6th) at noon on various music platforms.
"Danjoe" is the story of unknown actress Ha So-min (played by Lee Joo-young), who loses her family, dreams and whole life to a phishing scam and infiltrates the massive voice-phishing organization "Ilseongpa." It is a deepfake revenge drama depicting a daughter's lonely yet courageous battle for her mother, and since its first release it has received praise from viewers for its fast-paced development and emotionally aligned storyline.
"Sigh," sung by Lee Jin-jae, is a ballad that features a restrained vocal and delicate expression, with repeating guitar arpeggios and a lyrical cello melody combining to leave a deep impression. Lee Jin-jae's measured vocal style moves the heart like a sigh breathed into a quiet night sky.
In particular, "Sigh" fully reflects the feelings of the protagonist Ha So-min (played by Lee Joo-young), who lost her family. It calmly expresses the longing for a loved one and the hope to meet again. The melody, both poignant and warm, prompts listeners to revisit their own memories and emotions.
Lee Jin-jae previously proved his detailed expressiveness with his debut OST performance on the horror thriller "The Teacher's Grace" OST "Nightmare," and through the "Danjoe" OST "Sigh" is expected to show a broader musical spectrum with a deeper emotionality.
