Group SAY MY NAME's Dohee captivated viewers with a clear timbre and charming appeal.
SAY MY NAME member Dohee graced the MBC show 'King of Mask Singer,' which aired the afternoon of the 5th, and showcased her attractive vocals to full effect.
Performing on 'King of Mask Singer' under the nickname "Tomato Pasta," Dohee won her 1st-round match in the previous episode and advanced to the 2nd round, and in that episode Dohee selected IOI's "Sonagi" as her 2nd-round solo song, gifting viewers with moist emotion through her characteristically clean vocal tone.
To give hints about her identity, Dohee performed a dance medley she had prepared so viewers could deduce the team name "SAY MY NAME," presenting 4Minute's "What's Your Name" and BoA's "My Name." Seeing that, idol seniors Son Dong-pyo and WongOne's Yonghoon even speculated that she might be from SAY MY NAME.
After an unfortunate elimination in the 2nd round, Dohee delivered a tension-filled farewell. In particular, as the first girl group personally produced by K-pop frontrunner Kim Jae-joong, Dohee expressed gratitude about Kim Jae-joong, saying, "Because he is a senior, you must always be humble. He gives a lot of advice that live performance skills are important."
With a cute interview that conveyed the fresh charm of a rookie, Dohee melted the hearts of the MCs as well as viewers, and when asked about her future goals she confidently said, "We will work hard so our songs can spread widely in the world," drawing warm reactions.
SAY MY NAME, which includes Dohee who has a clear timbre and solid vocal skills, recently carried out active promotions this summer with the summer song "iLy" and will continue to reach fans with various content.
