The group CORTIS made a surprise appearance at Son Heung-min's home stadium.
CORTIS (Martin, James, Juhun, Sunghyun, Geonho) was officially invited to the LAFC vs. Atlanta United 2025 Major League Soccer (MLS) regular-season home game at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles on the 5th (local time). BMO Stadium is the home stadium of LAFC, where Son Heung-min plays. That day the members drew attention by coming out wearing jerseys with Son Heung-min's name and number on them.
CORTIS appeared as LAFC's honorary falconer, the first Korean artist to do so. This is a ceremonial role that celebrities such as actor Will Ferrell and singer Meghan Trainor have taken part in. Those invited as honorary falconers release the team's mascot hawk to signal the start of the match.
Domestic and international commentators expressed strong interest, saying, "We hope this will be a good memory for CORTIS and bring good energy to the LAFC players," and, "We are watching a moment where a Korean celebrity and LAFC are interacting." LAFC won 1-0 to secure a fifth consecutive victory that day, and CORTIS was mentioned among local sports fans as a "victory fairy," becoming a major topic online.
Prior to this, CORTIS also left a strong impression on American baseball fans. Major League Baseball (MLB) used CORTIS's "GO!" audio track in its 2025 postseason promotional video. This video is being broadcast on TV, radio, social media and in stadiums.
Even after official activities for their debut album ended, CORTIS has kept a busy schedule as requests in the United States continued. As part of a partnership with energy drink brand Red Bull, they will attend the Red Bull Dance Your Style World Final in Los Angeles on the 11th to watch the battle. This is the first time Red Bull has collaborated with a K-pop artist. On the 12th, they will hold a "GO!" dance workshop where members who created the choreography will teach the dance.
