The group i-dle began their first Japan tour, launching a full-fledged global push.
i-dle (Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, Shuhua) successfully held their Japan tour '2025 i-dle first japan tour [逢い-dle]' at Saitama Super Arena in Saitama Prefecture, Tokyo, on the 4th and 5th. The concert title '逢い-dle' means "an adventure to meet Neverland (the fans' nickname)," and it is i-dle's first Japan tour, running from Tokyo to Kobe.
On the day, i-dle opened with the title track of their first Japanese EP released after rebranding, i-dle, "どうしよっかな (Where Do We Go)," on a stage featuring five large screens connected to add dimensionality, and created special memories with local fans with a setlist covering their musical world over the past eight years from debut to the present.
i-dle premiered songs that fueled their reverse-chart climb, including the Japanese version of "나는 아픈 건 딱 질색이니까(Fate)", as well as signature hits such as "Klaxon", "Wife", "Girlfriend", "Allergy", "말리지 마", "MY BAG", "TOMBOY", and "Good Thing," plus tracks from the Japanese EP i-dle including "愛せなかった世界へ永遠にじゃあね (Farewell to the World)", "Invincible", "Queencard (Japanese ver.)" and the encore "Where Do We Go (arranged ver.)," filling the arena with i-dle's distinctive lively energy and mass singalongs.
Solo and unit stages followed. Miyeon conveyed delicate emotion by covering "Forever Eve" from the Japanese drama Glass Heart, which she appeared in as the music video lead and which drew attention. Soyeon transformed into a funky girl and drew explosive response by passionately singing the OST "Butter-Fly" from the animation Digimon Adventure while playing the guitar herself. A gigantic lightstick shaped like a "Digivice" appeared on stage, adding visual fun. Minnie, Yuqi and Shuhua performed "Ai♡Scream! (愛♡スクリ∼ム!)", a song that was very popular in Japan this summer, as a unit performance.
The members said the two-day shows felt so short they passed by quickly, and that every moment was enjoyable and happy. They added they hope there will be many more opportunities to meet fans. Afterwards, i-dle closed the concert by performing the fan song "Neverland," giving fans unforgettable memories.
After the Tokyo shows, i-dle will meet local fans at the Ariake Arena Kobe on the 18th and 19th.
