Comedian Kim Young-chul confessed to obsessive symptoms.
On the 5th, the "Pisik Show" episode released through the YouTube channel "Pisik University" featured Kim Young-chul as a guest.
Kim Young-chul exhausted the "Pisik University" members with nonstop chatter and by mixing songs in between. He said, "Sorry, but when you guys talk I feel like I have to sing."
When Kim Min-soo asked, "Like adult ADHD?", Kim Young-chul again expanded the topic with "No, a good idea came to mind," drawing laughter.
Kim Young-chul said, "There is a psychiatrist named Oh Jin-seung who runs the YouTube channel "Doctor Friends." He appeared on "Knowing Bros" and talked about ADHD, saying it's so common that you shouldn't worry and should go to the hospital for tests. Everyone told me to go, so I willingly took a two-hour test," he began.
He continued, "But surprisingly the doctor said, 'Mr. Young-chul, you don't have ADHD. But you do have obsessive tendencies.' He said that's why I have continued studying English for more than 20 years. I keep trying to learn different things. I almost cried, but the doctor said obsession is really fine and that everyone has the same problem," he laughed.
Kim Young-chul also said, "If you understand and recognize that issue, it's fine. So I like my obsession. I'm enjoying my obsession," and added, "Obsession is common among comedians."
