Actor Oh Yoon-ah tried hiking to help her son with his diet but was startled by an unexpected action.
Recently, Oh Yoon-ah's YouTube channel "Oh! Yoon-ah" published content titled "Oh Yoon-ah's life hike with her son Song-min! Son Song-min's diet is a bonus."
In the video, Oh Yoon-ah set out to exercise with her son to help with his diet. Oh Yoon-ah explained, "Because Min-yi needs to lose weight, we'll exercise a bit, take a walk, work hard on the hike, and take time to build stamina."
First, Oh Yoon-ah had her son start with jump rope. She cheered him on, saying "Challenge: 10 jump ropes," encouraging her son Min-yi to successfully do 10 consecutive jumps. Min-yi stopped partway, but Oh Yoon-ah kept encouraging him to reach 10, and he eventually succeeded.
After the jump rope, Oh Yoon-ah and her son Min went hiking. During the hike, Oh Yoon-ah was startled to find Min holding the hand of someone he didn't know.
Seeing Min holding the hand of a passerby in the park, Oh Yoon-ah was surprised and said, "What? You held an ajusshi's hand. You held a stranger's hand. Why are you doing that?" She tried to stop him. Although Oh Yoon-ah was embarrassed, the passerby holding Min's hand smiled and watched kindly.
Once they started hiking in earnest, Oh Yoon-ah tried various exercises for Min. They found a fitness facility set up on the trail, and she showed her son how to use the exercise equipment and worked out with him. She demonstrated directly and praised and encouraged him, saying, "Good job. Exercising makes you feel good," without holding back.
Oh Yoon-ah married a non-celebrity eight years her senior in 2007 and welcomed her first son Min in August of the same year, but they divorced by mutual consent in 2015 after eight years, and she has been raising her son with developmental disabilities on her own. She appeared together on the KBS 2TV variety program "Convenience Store Restaurant" (Korean title: 편스토랑) and shared her life with her son.
