Singer Lin, who drew attention after showing tears on a recent broadcast, has shared her recent situation spending her first holiday since her divorce, drawing interest.
On the 5th Lin posted multiple photos and an update saying, "Are you having an uneventful holiday? I arrived in Manila yesterday and I'm going to Seoul today. It was a tiring schedule, but thanks to those who welcomed me, I enjoyed it. I'm really resting for the first time in a long while. I'll knit an autumn scarf with a crochet hook and for dinner I'll eat cup noodles. Tomorrow I'll sleep in and take a long nap and go for a walk on a path I recently learned about. And with Netflix and a drink in the evening, before I know it the holiday will be winding down."
It drew more attention because it was her first holiday since the divorce. Earlier, singer Lin and MC the Max's Lee Soo-nam married in Sep. 2014 but announced their split in Aug., 11 years after their marriage.
Recently she appeared on MBN's "2025 Korea-Japan King of Singers," and she drew attention for crying while watching Shin Seung-tae's stage. When MC Shin Dong-yup asked the reason, Lin said, "The lyrics 'Don't be sorry, you did nothing wrong' resonated with me." She added, "Faces of people I used to think I should apologize to flashed by, and it felt like Shin Seung-tae was comforting me," showing a choking-up moment that moved even those watching.
Meanwhile, Lin once again left a meaningful remark that drew attention. That day Lin added, "It may not be as easy as words, but have a holiday that is comfortable both body and mind. I'm getting off the plane now. I returned safely. Well then, I'm off home," which also drew attention.
