The girl group ifeye, who burst onto the music scene like a comet with the aspiration "girls who make imagination reality," shared their thoughts on Chuseok through their debut hanbok interview.
Apr. 8, 2025. The six-member girl group ifeye (Kasiah, Rahee, Won Hwayeon, Sasha, Taerin, Miyu), carrying the aspiration "girls who make imagination reality," appeared on the music scene like a comet.
Ifeye, who had drawn high expectations even before debut as the first girl group of Hihet Entertainment produced by famous choreographer RyuD, followed their first EP ELRU BLUE, which highlighted "mystery" and "pure chic," with a comeback on Jul. 16, 100 days after debut, with mini album Vol. 2 Wave "Nang" Pt.2 "sweet tang," shedding their mysterious girl image for a more mature and confident presence that left a strong impression.
Ifeye achieved a successful debut based on an original concept and outstanding skills, and without resting on that success they proved their potential for growth through a rapid comeback in three months and a bold concept change. Known as the "all-center visuals" and "next-generation performance doll," ifeye met those descriptions. We spoke with them as they celebrated their first Chuseok since debut.
Q. Since Chuseok is a time when the whole family gathers, people exchange well-wishes. Would the members like to say well-wishes to each other?
Miyu→Sasha: You must have had a lot of hard times under the older members, so during this Chuseok please rest well, don't get hurt, don't fall off your bike, have fun with the older and younger siblings, and make sure to tell your parents to have a good Chuseok holiday^^
Sasha→Rahee: Thank you so much for always finding me so cute, and you're the most T among our members. I think there must be at least one T in a team. That's why I feel more reassured by you. This Chuseok I hope you eat a lot of delicious food, definitely learn to ride a bike, and have fun with your parents.
Rahee→Taerin: Taerin unnie. During this holiday I hope you eat a lot of your favorite seafood. But since it's pajeon, I hope you put green onions in it and, on this occasion, I hope you start eating vegetables. Tomatoes too. Now that we're adults, I hope we walk together into a joyful 2026.
Taerin→Won Hwayeon: Pretty Hwayeon. Thank you so much for being with us; thank you for always making us smile with your pretty face, and I'm always comforted by your kind words. This Chuseok I hope you rest well, sleep a lot if you haven't been sleeping, eat a lot of what you want, and spend a lot of time with your family.
Won Hwayeon→Kasiah: Since this Chuseok holiday is long, I hope you eat a lot of delicious food and during this break let go of all thoughts and focus entirely on rest. As leader you must have had a lot of difficult moments, so heal well with your family, have a joyful Hangawi and come back. Let's also get a lot of pocket money!
Kasiah→Miyu: I'm so grateful you've been my friend since trainee days. This Chuseok don't think about anything, eat everything you want, go hiking a lot, and have a really fun time with your family.
Q. Since the whole family gathers, nagging is inevitable. Is that the case?
Miyu→Sasha: After the Chuseok holiday I'll organize my closet too, so please make sure to tidy the clothes in the living room. And since we're both vocal members, take care of your voice, practice hard at dancing, and let's grow even more!
Sasha→Rahee: Unnie, last time you said let's ride our bikes home after work. But you weren't good at riding then, so I don't really know why you suggested biking home. I hope you practice and come back having learned by Chuseok.
Rahee→Taerin: I think I nagged a bit during the well-wishes earlier, but please eat lots of vegetables and really start eating tomatoes this time. And when we eat our current meals, don't leave out the broccoli.
Taerin→Won Hwayeon: I appreciate your empathy, but my heart hurts, so it might be okay to hold back a little on the empathetic tears.
Won Hwayeon→Kasiah: Since we're in the same Pilates group, after eating a lot of Chuseok food let's work out hard. I also hope to improve my flexibility. Let's try to show fans a prettier Pilates performance.
Kasiah→Miyu: After returning from the Chuseok holiday let's lose fewer items.
Q. Besides well-wishes and nagging, since the full moon rises on Chuseok you make wishes. What would you like to wish for?
Kasiah: I hope our future activities go more smoothly in proportion to the hard work, sweat and tears we put in during our trainee period. Above all health is most important, so I wish for us to stay healthy and be able to show fans the music we want to do while wishing for ifeye's great success.
Q. Now that you've wished for the team, shall we wish for personal things?
Miyu: I hope the name ifeye becomes well known through our future activities. Our members are truly multi-talented: we dance well, sing well and have great visuals, so I hope there are more opportunities to show us off.
Sasha: I hope the name ifeye becomes known worldwide, and personally I wish for my family's health.
Rahee: After finishing debut and comeback activities, there's been so much to take care of and we've stayed busy. I hope to further develop my artistic talents in music, and like my family I wish for everyone's health.
Taerin: Ifeye is doing well now, but I want us to grow more and hold our own concert next year. I want to invite our families to that concert to show them how well we can do.
Won Hwayeon: I hope we establish the name ifeye widely and are given more opportunities to be active.
Kasiah: I hope our families and acquaintances are healthy and happy, and since we have a lot to show as ifeye I hope more opportunities come to show us off.
