Crime Scene producer Yoon Hyun-jun opened up about the show's move to Netflix.
On the 4th, a new video titled "The decisive behind-the-scenes you missed! | Crime Scene Zero commentary - Part 1" was released on the YouTube channel Studio Slam.
While PD Yoon Hyun-jun and the cast were answering fans' questions directly that day, a staff member asked, "I've heard Crime Scene's move to Netflix was thanks to the success of Culinary Class Wars. Is that true?"
At that, Jang Dong-min said, "I'm curious about this too," and PD Yoon Hyun-jun said, "Crime Scene was already promised to be produced before Culinary Class Wars was released." Jang Dong-min said, surprised, "Really?" and added, "I also went elsewhere and said that. 'Culinary Class Wars will be a hit and get it on Netflix.'"
PD Yoon Hyun-jun said, "The Crime Scene program received an offer from Netflix before Culinary Class Wars came out, so we agreed, 'Then let's produce Crime Scene,' and went into meetings. The claim that Culinary Class Wars was a big hit and that led to it being on Netflix doesn't fit the timeline."
Then PD Yoon Hyun-jun told Jang Dong-min, "Don't spread that rumor," and Jang Dong-min said, "It's such a relief that the misunderstanding is resolved like this."
Meanwhile, Crime Scene Zero premiered on Netflix on the 23rd of last month and is scheduled to be released every Tuesday.
