Recently, in videos and live broadcasts released on the YouTube channel "Philmicouple," Ryu Philip corrected misunderstandings regarding rumors that "there is conflict with sister Suji" and "they have broken up," saying "that is not true at all."
He emphasized, "My sister herself said, 'I want to stop now.' You can't force someone to continue, and if she is not happy I thought it was right to stop," adding, "I started helping because my sister, who weighed 150kg, was suffering to the point of feeling her life was threatened, not because I ever forced her."
He went on to explain, "It is not true that we made money through diet content. On the contrary, I paid my sister a salary and supported her. It started not because of money but for the health and happiness of the family."
Ryu Philip also said, "My relationship with my sister originally was not one of frequent contact. We reconnected after several years, and I helped because her health looked serious," adding, "now we are simply going our separate ways; we did not fight nor are we estranged."
Responding to claims that "she struggled because of malicious comments and pressure," he said, "Mina actually received even more malicious comments. Suji is still running her own channel and is doing well on her own as an influencer."
