Actor Kim Woo-bin revealed that he was shortchanged on screen time by writer Noh Hee-kyung of the drama "Our Blues."
On the 5th, a video titled "Woobin gives birth to Kyu-pil with hair" was posted on Netflix's YouTube channel.
Yu Byung-jae asked Kim Woo-bin, "Were you shortchanged on screen time while filming 'Our Blues'?" Kim Woo-bin said, "When the writer first offered the drama, she said many actors would appear and the episodes would be divided, so if we filmed only for a month and a half each it would be fine.
Kim Woo-bin said, "I thought it would be fine because there were many characters, so I thought, 'Oh then it won't be a burden.' Because I was coordinating other schedules and the script was so good, I boldly answered, 'I'll do it,' but because of the weather and the difficulty of matching schedules, I think I filmed only my portion for about six months."
Yu Byung-jae said, "I watched this too—are they saying they filmed everything in a month? But that doesn't make sense because there were so many scenes where everyone gathered, and Woobin doesn't just appear like this; we were doing something and he would just appear in the background, and other characters couldn't have filmed like that either."
Kim Woo-bin said, "To shoot the market scene you have to set up the location, so all the actors have to match their schedules. But many of the actors are busy seniors, so that was a bit difficult."
