Actor Kim Moo-jun left a strong presence with the Netflix series Genie, Make A Wish.
The Netflix series Genie, Make A Wish, released on the 3rd, is a fantasy romantic comedy about a career-interrupted lamp spirit genie (played by Kim Woo-bin), who wakes after about a thousand years and meets the emotionally lacking human Ga-young (played by Suzy), leading to events over three wishes.
In Genie, Make A Wish, Kim Moo-jun played Young-hyun, a novice YouTuber who moved to the countryside and runs a YouTube channel with his wife Da-jin, showcasing a variety of acting.
By chance Young-hyun meets the genie and wishes for "YouTube success" as his first wish, and the channel instantly skyrockets when a live broadcast shows the discovery of a skeleton. Kim Moo-jun vividly expressed the genie's line "Humans only truly learn their nature when they encounter a wish" through Young-hyun, moving between comic and delicate tones to firmly balance comedy and drama. Previously, Kim Moo-jun proved stable acting and character interpretation through numerous works such as the drama Lovers, Sorry Not Sorry, the Japanese drama Black Pean 2, and Caster.
