"Home Alone" DAY6 drummer Dowoon revealed what made him fall in love with fishing.
On the broadcast of MBC entertainment program "Home Alone" (hereafter "Home Alone") that aired on the 3rd, DAY6's drummer Dowoon's daily life was depicted.
That day Dowoon said, "I've lived alone for 5-6 years. I've lived in this house for five months. I'm not knowledgeable about interior design, so an acquaintance who runs an interior business handled everything. Because I go on overseas tours so often, I don't like places that feel like hotels, so it's simply a home. It's where I rest," as he introduced his home.
Dowoon's home was literally neat and minimal. Only a bed sat alone in the bedroom, and the computer room was tidy as well. Jun Hyun-moo said, "Wow, there's really nothing," and Park Na-rae marveled, "At this level it's like a shared lodging."
Rising early at dawn, Dowoon headed straight for the kitchen and opened the refrigerator. The fridge was empty, and Dowoon explained, "Suddenly bread became popular, so my schedule filled up every day and I ended up ordering food delivery all the time." Seeing this, Kian84 reacted, "It really looks like a star's refrigerator."
DAY6 found success 10 years after debut, and Code Kunst said, "The lineage of pretty-boy bands had been briefly interrupted." In response, Dowoon replied that being part of the lineage following FT Island and CNBLUE was "an honor."
Meanwhile, Dowoon woke up at 2:40 a.m. He said, "Actually the reason I woke up early was to go fishing. I'm proud of my fishing. I'm pretty good at fishing," showing confidence.
After revealing numerous professional fishing gear, Dowoon said he even appeared on a fishing TV program. Park Na-rae was surprised, "That's a place where professional anglers appear," and Dowoon proudly said, "Appearing as an angler is truly a pleasant thing."
Dowoon actually caught an 87.5cm yellowtail and showed his love for fishing by participating in fishing competitions. He went on, "I've fished in Geoje, Totongyeong, Wando, and the West Sea," explaining that he owns different rods for different fish.
Meanwhile, while out fishing for webfoot octopus, Dowoon caught a cuttlefish first and then a webfoot octopus. He confessed, "When I fish, I don't think about anything. Focusing solely on fishing greatly helps my mental health."
Park Na-rae asked, "How did you start fishing?" Dowoon said, "There was a period when I was anxious. I decided I had to clear my mind of all thoughts. The members were having a hard time and even suspended activities, and I felt I had nothing left to do. As someone who loved DAY6's drums, nothing filled me when I did things alone. Fishing filled me up very healthily," he revealed.
