Yoon PD, who directed the 'Crime Scene' series, mentioned the possibility of a next season.
On the 4th, the YouTube channel "Studio Slam" uploaded a video titled "The decisive behind-the-scenes you missed is right here! | Crime Scene Zero commentary - Part 1."
In the video, the grants of 'Crime Scene Zero' — director Jang Jin, actors Kim Ji-hoon, Jang Dong-min, Ahn Yoo-jin, and PD Yoon Hyun-jun — appeared to share behind-the-scenes stories and commentary about the program.
Yoon PD expressed gratitude for the strong reaction to 'Crime Scene Zero,' while also addressing viewers' worries, saying, "(The production team making it) is so hard that what if there isn't a next season?"
Kim Ji-hoon also asked cautiously, "But isn't it really hard? Would it still be good if there were a next season? What do you think?", and Yoon PD confessed, "Honestly, the fact that there could be a next season means the results are good and this season did well. But in the back of my mind is, 'Can we do this again?'"
When Jang Dong-min asked, "Why could we only do five episodes this season?", Yoon PD lamented, "Last season was five episodes too, but this time we started with 'let's do at least six.' But it didn't work out. For various reasons."
Kim Ji-hoon said, "I watched some of season 3 a few days ago, and compared to then, the level of storytelling, difficulty, and completeness has risen to an incomparable degree," and Yoon PD explained the reasons for the challenging episode structures, saying, "Back then, even that level made it hard for people to find the culprit."
