Choi Hong-man, who said he is currently 217cm, explained that he does not have a machine to measure his height, saying, "I draw a 2m line on the wall and measure my height above that. I measured it exactly with a ruler." When asked about his family's heights, Choi Hong-man said, "My father is 158cm. My mother is similar. It seems the family height accumulated and came to me. My foot size is 360mm."
Choi Hong-man said that because of his enormous foot size he orders shoes specially from abroad. He took off his shoes to show them, and everyone was amazed at their size, comparable to Hong Hyun-hee's upper body.
Choi Hong-man said he weighed 4.6kg at birth but was relatively small in elementary school. He added, "In elementary school, my chest was tiny like millet or a bean. My height was unusually short. I grew like bean sprouts. I had my school uniform fitted more than 10 times a year." Choi Hong-man revealed his unusual secret, saying, "I liked milk more than water. I frequently drank 4 to 5 liters."
