Lee Young-ae and Kim Young-kwang fall squarely into Park Yong-woo's trap.
On the 4th at 9:20 p.m., KBS 2TV weekend miniseries Walking On Thin Ice (directed by Song Hyun-wook / written by Jeon Young-shin / produced by Baram Pictures·Sling Shot Studio) episode 5 sees Jang Tae-gu (played by Park Yong-woo) sense something suspicious about Kang Eun-soo (played by Lee Young-ae) and begin a full-scale inquiry.
Earlier, Eun-soo and Lee Kyung (played by Kim Young-kwang) resumed their partnership out of necessity. During a face-to-face transaction, Lee Kyung dramatically rescued Eun-soo from danger, delivering a thrilling tension, but the dangerous partnership between the two gradually began to be exposed to those around them. Meanwhile, Tae-gu, tracking traces of the missing James, was narrowing the investigative net around Eun-soo and Lee Kyung.
Stills released today (3rd) captured Tae-gu and Choi Kyung-do (played by Kwon Ji-woo) visiting Eun-soo's house. Tae-gu persistently presses Eun-soo, who worked at Club Medusa, about her relationship with James. He shows a look of conviction as if sensing something between Eun-soo and James, creating taut tension. Kyung-do also closely watches Eun-soo's reactions and searches throughout the house. Eun-soo, who had been using her wits to avoid the barrage of questions, is ultimately stunned by the decisive evidence Tae-gu produces.
Another still shows Eun-soo and Lee Kyung hiding in a warehouse after being caught up in a shocking incident. The two, clearly anxious, cannot hide worried expressions as if being chased by someone, and Eun-soo frantically makes a call, conveying that they are at the edge of a cliff. Viewers' curiosity about whether they can escape this crisis safely has reached a peak ahead of the broadcast.
The production team said, "In episodes 5 and 6, Eun-soo and Lee Kyung become involved in an unexpected incident and face another crisis. The uneasy partnership between the two and Tae-gu's relentless investigation intersect, maximizing the tension," and added, "Please watch to see what choices the two make in the crisis."
Meanwhile, Walking On Thin Ice is airing a special marathon, Walking On Thin Ice – binge day, today (3rd) from 5:15 p.m. to 6:35 p.m. The marathon of episodes 1–4 is expected to deliver an immersive experience like watching a single film.
