Would You Merry Me, the new SBS Friday-Saturday drama that premieres on the 10th (Fri) (directed by Song Hyun-wook, Hwang In-hyeok / written by Lee Ha-na / produced by Studio S, Samhwa Networks), is a 90-day fake newlywed story of two people fighting to win a luxury newlywed home prize, and it raises expectations as a work that will showcase strong acting synergy between dependable actor Choi Woo-shik (as Kim Woo-joo) and rom-com queen Jung So-min (as Yu Meri).

To secure the newlywed home prize for newlyweds, Meri asks Woo-joo, who shares a name with her former fiancé, to act as her husband. Despite saying, "Do you know how dangerous what Yu Meri is doing is?" Woo-joo agrees to Meri's request, opening the sweet and tense prelude to their fake newlywed romance.
From Woo-joo and Meri's surprise kiss to their arsenal of couple items, the two's strategies to keep their secret as a fake newlywed couple foreshadow a dizzying romance that raises anticipation. Passing through the newlywed home's entrance where Woo-joo and Meri's shoes are neatly arranged, the bathroom is set with couple toothbrushes and the kitchen with couple mugs, drawing attention.
