Actor Kim Hee-seon's mother has died, prompting a wave of condolences.
According to the broadcasting industry, Kim Hee-seon's mother, Park Bok-sun, died on the 2nd. She was 86.
Kim Hee-seon previously lost her father in 2018. Losing her mother after about seven years grips viewers' hearts with sorrow.
Meanwhile, Kim Hee-seon has often expressed her special affection for her mother through broadcasts.
In the 2021 TV Chosun program "Gourmet Heo Young-man's Food Travel," she said, "I'm an only daughter and my mother had me a little late," and added, "She probably avoided ugly things because she wanted to have a pretty child," referring to her mother. Kim Hee-seon's mother is known to have given birth to Kim Hee-seon in her late 30s.
