Stray Kids grants a special performance ending stage after appearing at the launch ceremony of The Presidential Committee on Popular Culture Exchange held on the afternoon of Oct. 1. Stray Kids, who have swept the global music market and asserted their presence as a "global top artist," was invited to this launch as a K-pop artist representing popular culture exchange and brightened the meaningful occasion.
President Lee Jae-myung introduced Stray Kids as a pride of our culture, saying "our culture's pride that became the first in the 70-year history of the Billboard 200 to have seven consecutive No. 1 works." Stray Kids, who appeared with a grand intro combining traditional elements, performed the group's signature songs "Sori kkunn" and "神메뉴" (Shin Menu) arranged in a gugak version, and their unwavering solid live performance and unique stage presence thrilled not only the on-site audience but also global fans who watched the live broadcast.
Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin and I.N said, "We sincerely congratulate the launch of The Presidential Committee on Popular Culture Exchange. We are grateful that Stray Kids can be part of this honorable occasion." They then presented a joint performance of the title track "CEREMONY" from the group's seventh Billboard 200 No. 1 album KARMA, together with the taekwondo demonstration team K-TIGERS and a lion mask, completing a grand ceremony celebrating a new leap for Korea's popular culture.
Recently Stray Kids reaffirmed their powerful group status on the U.S. Billboard charts. KARMA, their fourth full-length album released in August, ranked 18th on the Oct. 4 Billboard 200 chart, local time, and became the first Stray Kids album to remain within the top 20 for five consecutive weeks. On the World Albums chart it held the top spot for five consecutive weeks, making it the longest-running No. 1 among K-pop albums released in 2025, and the title track "CEREMONY" charted on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart for more than five weeks, the second-longest run in K-pop history.
Meanwhile Stray Kids will hold their solo concert Stray Kids World Tour 'dominATE : celebrATE' ('dominATE : celebrATE') at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium on Oct. 18 and 19. As the encore performance of their largest-ever world tour "dominATE" and their first solo domestic stadium show since debut, the performances were meaningful; tickets for all shows sold out after general sales, and the additionally opened seats were also sold out.
