Singer and actress Nana personally revealed that she had all of her body tattoos removed.
On the 2nd, Nana updated her social media with the message, "I do not regret it. I left only the one tattoo to which I gave meaning on my body. 1968 the person I admire most," sharing her recent condition.
She added, "I have returned with a clean body. Having overcome the pain, I have grown stronger. The pains of the past have also become memories."
In the photos, Nana attracted attention with a more restrained appearance after the tattoo removal. The ankle tattoo "1968," the only one she left, signifies her mother's year of birth. She also conveyed a message of hope, saying, "I overcame it by honestly expressing, acknowledging and accepting my disgrace and pain. I wanted to create songs that anyone can relate to."
Earlier, at the 2022 production presentation for the film Jaebaek, Nana caused a stir by revealing her full-body tattoos. At the time she confessed she had gotten the tattoos to endure a difficult period, but later said she decided to have them removed because "my mother wanted to see a clean body."
Meanwhile, Nana released the music video for "Scar," a track from her first solo album Seventh Heaven 16, on the same day. The only remaining "1968" tattoo appears, adding deeper resonance.
