Singer Byeol faced a situation where she lost her passport ahead of an overseas trip.
On the 2nd, the channel "Byeol-i bitnaneun tube" uploaded a video titled "Almost got left behind alone on my first overseas trip.. from reporting a lost passport to reissuance at lightning speed (feat. Mangwon neighborhood eateries)."
That day Byeol messaged the production team, "Emergency! Can we do today's scheduled shoot a little earlier?" She explained to the production team why she called them in early. "I'll explain why I urgently called the PD. There's a photo studio on the second floor of this building. It's not a big deal, but to give some background as an excuse: the Deososong family of five has plans for a vacation in October. The children couldn't travel during summer break. Dad hasn't taken a day off and has been busy. So we have to travel to Macau this time, and we need to book tickets now; my children and my husband's passports are all fine but I don't have my passport," she explained the situation.
She said, "I keep them in the drawer of my vanity as Dream, Soul, Song, and mine like that. But I don't know where it went—whether it grew legs, grew hands, or grew wings. I searched the whole house. I checked the master bedroom and looked everywhere but it's not there. It's Friday now. If you count Saturday and Sunday, I would have to go alone," but she added jokingly, "Should I have gone alone then?" which drew laughter.
She then said, "Anyway, even the time I'm talking now makes me anxious," and went straight to the reserved photo studio to take passport photos.
But after safely finishing the passport photo shoot, Byeol tried to leave the studio with her bag still there and said in embarrassment, "I'm really not usually like this, but my mental state has been shaken since this morning, I'm sorry."
She lamented, "It feels like my brain capacity is reaching its limit these days. I have too many things going on. It's a dilemma." She added, "I'm MBTI J but totally P. How did I become P somehow?" and lowered her head.
After completing the lost passport report and reissuance procedures safely at the district office, Byeol said, "I reported it lost. This is my first time losing it so I wasn't particularly penalized, but there are some restrictions," and added, "Reissuance succeeded. I decided to receive it by registered mail, and if you receive it by registered mail you can get it in three to four days. Today is Friday so with the weekend it seems I can get it by Wednesday. Wednesday is fine. Anyway, I'm relieved," she said with great relief.
