The group ILLIT heated up campuses with passionate performances at university festivals.
ILLIT (Yoona, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, Iroha) recently performed at Seongsin Women's University (Sept. 19), Dongguk University (Sept. 25) and Kyunghee University (Oct. 1) festival stages, connecting with students.
They performed the title track from their third mini album bomb, "Borrowed Cat (Do the Dance)," and the tracks "oops!", "jellyous", as well as their debut single "Magnetic" and "Tick-Tack," showcasing songs that have received great love. The large crowd that filled the venue sang along and chanted cheering methods, making ILLIT's widespread popularity palpable.
ILLIT brought the atmosphere to life from the start with vivid live performances. With steady vocals and lively choreography that instantly dominated the stage, they added shout-outs here and there to heighten excitement and actively engaged with the audience through eye contact and hand waves.
Especially during "oops!" they raised festival energy by doing the point choreography of turning their hands over their heads in time with the chorus together with the audience. During "Magnetic," cheers and group singing erupted, turning the venue into a frenzy of excitement.
ILLIT's professional spirit also stood out. On the day of the Seongsin Women's University festival when heavy rain poured, they performed with full effort without missing a single choreography move in the rain, drawing attention. Those at the venue responded with enthusiastic cheers throughout the performance to ILLIT's bright energy. ILLIT said, "It's our first time performing on a rainy day, but it felt romantic and exciting. It was fun because people sang along with us and responded a lot," sharing their impressions.
Meanwhile, ILLIT will give a congratulatory performance at the 20th Seoul Drama Awards at KBS Hall at 5 p.m. on the 2nd.
