MBN's Wednesday-Thursday miniseries "First Lady" (screenplay by Kim Hyung-wan/ directed by Lee Ho-hyun/ produced by Studio Jidam Co., Ltd., Artist Studio, Roadshow Plus Co., Ltd.) is a drama that tells the story that unfolds when an unprecedented incident occurs in which a husband elected president demands a divorce from the wife who is to become first lady.
Lee Si-gang plays Yang Hoon, chairman of H Group, who is embroiled in allegations of illegal succession. Yang Hoon is an ambitious character who spares no means for his own benefit, and he is expected to deftly walk a tightrope between Cha Soo-yeon (played by Yujin) and Hyun Min-chul (played by Ji Hyun-woo), amplifying the conflict. Attention is focused on the tension and synergy Lee Si-gang will create as he portrays the despicable and brazen villain Yang Hoon in the drama.
Since starting with the 2014 drama "Dr. Frost," Lee Si-gang has shown solid acting skills in titles such as "Elegant Empire," "Cheer Up, My Life," "The Secret Man," "Falling for Trot," "Happy Sisters," "My Sassy Girl," and "Marriage Story." He also recently perfectly embodied Hong Nan-pa in the play "Death's Admiration," showcasing a wide acting spectrum that crosses genres. Having delivered a strong presence each time, attention is focused on what kind of new villain Lee Si-gang will present in "First Lady."
