BTS (BTS) Jimin shared his honest feelings after rumors about his private life subsided.
Jimin held a live broadcast on the official fan community Weverse on the 1st to communicate with fans.
That day Jimin said, "I don't really have anything to prepare for performances yet, so I'm working hard on the album. I'm very grateful. I've also been running hard and dieting," conveying his recent efforts for a full-group comeback.
He raised expectations for the upcoming album, saying, "I'm very excited too. I'm working hard on this album, and I'm really curious how you all will feel about it. I shouldn't spoil too much, so I'll hold back. I think this will be an album that we all consider very precious."
Having completed his military hiatus and returned, Jimin said, "I missed you so much too. I'm so happy to be able to come back after a long time. Now that I've done the military, there won't be such a long break. We'll keep preparing and when we come out next year we'll have to go around to meet you all. We have to keep showing you good sides. I'm curious how you'll react and what you'll feel when the album comes out. I'm also continually waiting for the day we meet."
In particular, Jimin indirectly expressed his feelings about the recent private-life rumors, saying, "It's nice to be back after a long time. I missed you more than anyone. A lot has happened, but I want to continue showing good sides to fans and to many people, and living life well is not an easy thing. Becoming a good adult, living a good life—these things are not easy," he said, reflecting on the recent issues surrounding his private life.
He said, "That's right. I just have to do well. I have to do well, of course. Becoming an adult isn't easy; it's just pretending to be an adult. Anyway, I'll try to continue living well, I'll keep showing good sides, and I'll work harder to show them. I wanted to talk about that since it's been a while," and added, "I'm very grateful for your kind words."
He added, "It was nice to meet you like this after a long time, and I'll quickly prepare various things and show them to you. I love you all very much, and don't worry about my health. I hope you all stay healthy and happy. You don't need to worry about me. Thank you so much for today, thank you for coming in large numbers, and thank you for watching closely. See you in Korea."
Meanwhile, Jimin had been plagued for years by dating rumors involving Song Da-eun, a former cast member of Heart Signal 2. Amid this, Song Da-eun recently uploaded a video that appeared to show her meeting Jimin privately, and when renewed dating suspicions arose, the agency BigHit Music broke its long-held silence to respect the other party's privacy and released its first statement.
BigHit Music said, "The artist had a past mutual liking and continued a connection with the other party, but that time was several years ago and they are not dating now," and added, "We ask that you refrain from indiscriminate speculation about private lives. We earnestly request that you also refrain from actions that could harm the person discussed alongside the artist," declaring that the suspicions were completely closed.
