CNBLUE's Jung Yong-hwa met ATEEZ's Hongjoong.
Jung Yong-hwa will release a video of the new episode of the music talk show LP ROOM season 2 featuring ATEEZ's Hongjoong on his official YouTube channel at 7 p.m. on the 2nd.
Jung Yong-hwa's LP ROOM is a music story talk show that likens an artist's life to a film and creates an OST playlist. In a vinyl shop–mood space filled with LP records, it delivers deep music stories and cheerful episodes, and the addition of high-quality live performances offers music fans a different kind of pleasure.
In this episode, Hongjoong, the captain of ATEEZ, a "world-class" group that is heating up not only Korea but the entire world, appears as a guest. Hongjoong confesses his passionate fandom for Jung Yong-hwa, saying "If it weren't for a senior in middle school, I might have matured a little less," and Jung Yong-hwa, saying "He had an exceptional eye," appears proud, bringing laughter.
Hongjoong, who was the first trainee at agency KQ Entertainment, revealed an anecdote about having to eat fried rice every day for six months back then. He also shares various behind-the-scenes stories, from ATEEZ's U.S. Coachella stage and Billboard chart performance that set last year on fire to their entry into stadium venues, expressing gratitude to fans.
The two also perform a duet live of Michael Jackson's "Love Never Felt So Good," which Hongjoong picked as the BGM that came to mind "when he ate only fried rice every day during his trainee days." The fresh, clear voice of Jung Yong-hwa and Hongjoong's unique tone are expected to create a distinctive harmony that will capture fans' hearts.
