On the 2nd, MBC Every1's 'Welcome, First Time in Korea?' will feature Rai and Tamang, former Nepalese porters, trekking Bukhansan in Seoul.
After visiting Namsan on the first day, the Nepalese friends arrived at the starting point of Bukhansan, Seoul's highest mountain. There was a solid backstory from Nepal leading up to the friends' arrival at Bukhansan. True to porters who carry loads exceeding 50kg up the Himalaya, their curiosity about Korean mountains exploded. Reportedly, they made a startling remark that 'the mountains in Seoul are just stones(?) or hills(?),' which put the production team on edge.
With overconfidence, the friends set out to climb Bukhansan. Although they were used to climbing for work only, once they began the ascent they were delighted like children at the sight of the lush greenery and the mountain air.
