Jin's final fan-concert journey begins.
BTS member Jin on the afternoon of the 2nd announced on global superfans platform Weverse that "#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR_ENCORE" will be held. This concert will take place Oct. 31–Nov. 1 at the main stadium of Incheon Munhak Stadium in Michuhol District, Incheon.
Jin's first solo fan-concert tour "#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR" unfolded as 18 shows in nine cities, starting in Goyang last June and including Japan, the United States and Europe. For the encore performance that will complete the run, Jin plans to present a stage that condenses the experiences he gained traveling the world. It is expected he will deliver another unforgettable time for fans by showcasing the solid live skills and performances honed on tour.
Label BigHit Music said, "Thanks to the ARMY's heartfelt wishes, we prepared an encore performance. We hope you look forward to a special stage that can only be seen in Incheon. We expanded the scale compared with the June Goyang fan concert, and the artist is doing his best to prepare so he can get closer to more audience members. We ask for your interest and support."
With this tour, Jin became the first Korean solo artist to enter London's O2 arena, and at the Honda Center in Anaheim he drew the largest audience ever for a Korean artist. He also became the first Korean solo artist to sell out all seats at the American Airlines Center in Dallas.
"#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR" was themed as an expansion of the world of BTS's official YouTube content "Run, Seokjin" onto the stage. Jin sang a variety of songs and offered fresh enjoyment through games and costume events with fans. Major overseas media praised the performance blending authenticity and humor, calling it "not simply a K-pop concert but the world of Kim Seokjin himself" (Rolling Stone, U.K.) and "a master class in fan engagement" (Los Angeles Times).
Meanwhile, "#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR_ENCORE" will be available via online streaming as well. More detailed information will be available later on BTS's official Weverse.
