Hanwha Eagles infielder Ha Ju-seok, 31, will marry cheerleader Kim Yeon-jeong, 35, in December. The couple's wedding news was revealed the previous day by the broadcast team during a baseball telecast.
On the 1st at Incheon SSG Landers Field, the color commentator calling the game between the Hanwha Eagles and the SSG Landers said of Ha Ju-seok, who stepped into the batter's box, that "there will be a wedding after the season." It was later reported that his bride-to-be is Kim Yeon-jeong.
Ha Ju-seok joined the Hanwha Eagles as the No. 1 overall pick in the first round of the 2012 rookie draft. He has faced ups and downs, including being caught driving under the influence in 2022. Kim Yeon-jeong debuted in 2007 as a cheerleader for Ulsan Mobiis Phoebus. She is currently active as a cheerleader for the Hanwha Eagles, Ulsan HDFC in professional soccer, Busan KCC Egis, and Busan OK Savings Bank Oot Man.
