CORTIS ranked on the U.S. Billboard main album chart for a second consecutive week, solidifying their position as this year's top new act.
According to the latest chart (Oct. 4) released by U.S. music outlet Billboard on Sept. 30, CORTIS (Martin, James, Juhun, Sunghyun, Gunho)'s debut album "COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES" recorded 128 on the main album chart, the Billboard 200. It was the first among this year's new acts to enter this chart and then remained on the ranking for a second consecutive week. The album also reached No. 2 on the World Albums chart, No. 9 on Top Current Album Sales and No. 10 on Top Album Sales.
On major song charts, the rise of the intro track "GO!" stood out. The song rose 5 spots and 7 spots respectively from the previous week to No. 175 on the Billboard Global 200 and No. 129 on the Billboard Global (excluding U.S.). Both charts rank songs based on online streaming and digital sales compiled from more than 200 countries and territories worldwide. It is especially surprising that the song has steadily climbed the global charts even after the official promotion period for the debut album ended. Thanks to the album and single performances, CORTIS ranked No. 70 on Artist 100.
Interest in them from the U.S. market can also be seen on the world's largest music streaming platform, Spotify. CORTIS's monthly listeners on Spotify (listeners over the most recent 28 days) are 6,428,931 (as of Sept. 29). About 1,120,000 listeners from the United States account for an overwhelming 17.4% of the total country/territory composition, ranking first. It is encouraging that they have been resonating at the center of the global music market since immediately after debut.
CORTIS is also enjoying multi-hit success on the streaming charts, topping the Daily Viral Songs Global with title track "What You Want" (Sept. 1-7), the intro track "GO!" (Sept. 9-11, 16-19), and "FaSHioN" (Sept. 22-28). Their songs were No. 1 for a total of 21 days.
