Actor Seo Hyun-woo opened the full-scale start of Ms. Incognito.
With the Genie TV original Ms. Incognito off to a pleasant start, expectations are high for Seo Hyun-woo's transformation as Lee Don in the drama.
Ms. Incognito is a crime romance about a dirt-poor bodyguard who, after entering into a contract marriage with a terminally ill chaebol chairman, must hide his identity and survive for three months while facing forces aiming for the vast inheritance. Seo Hyun-woo plays Lee Don, the pragmatic realist who, true to his name "Don," worships money and serves as the personal lawyer of Ga Seong-ho (Moon Sung-keun), who entered a contract marriage with Kim Young-ran (played by Jeon Yeo-bin), a dirt-poor bodyguard.
Above all, Lee Don is the manager who oversees the contract marriage from start to finish and the person who gives Kim Young-ran the new identity of Bu-semi. In episode 2, which aired on the 30th, he notarized the contract between Ga Seong-ho and Kim Young-ran and served as a witness to their marriage registration, completing the contract marriage.
The change in relationship between Kim Young-ran, who went from interviewee to bodyguard and is now a madam, and Lee Don drew interest on its own. Lee Don led Bu-semi, the new identity of Kim Young-ran, to his hometown Muchang so she could safely hide for three months, and by sending her to his older sister and kindergarten director Lee Mi-seon (played by Seo Jae-hee), he opened the beginning of the whole story.
Seo Hyun-woo solidly supported the center of the work and perfectly carried out a major role that unfolds the story, instantly elevating the character's appeal. He vividly portrayed a fairly three-dimensional character with an unabashed charm that cannot be hated, pleasantness, cool intelligence and loyalty to Chairman Ga Seong-ho, and his weighty presence enriched the work. In particular, his tight chemistry with Moon Sung-keun and Jeon Yeo-bin added both persuasiveness and tension to the narrative, increasing curiosity about the developments.
Just as Lee Don began to fully play the role of architect by managing Kim Young-ran's life reset project and resolving the crises that befell her, Seo Hyun-woo is also expected to serve as a core pillar of Ms. Incognito, steering the flow of the work and firmly holding the center of the drama.
Seo Hyun-woo raises immersion every time he appears with his distinctive acting that brings characters to life and his screen-commanding presence. Having opened the beginning of all narratives within just two episodes, Seo Hyun-woo is set to heighten the tension and enjoyment of the eventful stories to come.
