Actor Moon Seung-yu shows a new charm in the new drama "Would You Merry Me".
Moon Seung-yu will appear on the small screen in SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama "Would You Merry Me," which premieres on the 10th. "Would You Merry Me" is a drama about Kim Woo-ju (Choi Woo-shik) and Yoo Meri (Jung So-min)'s sweet and fierce 90-day fake newlywed period as they try to win a luxury newlywed home prize.
The role of Kim Jin-hwa played by Moon Seung-yu is Yoo Meri's ex-lover and the older sister of Kim Woo-ju (Seo Beom-jun), who shares the same name as Kim Woo-ju; she is a somewhat immature but not wholly unlikeable character who tries to profit from her younger brother's engagement to a wealthy family's daughter. Moon Seung-yu is expected to energize the series with an honest and unreserved charm.
Moon Seung-yu said, "I am happy to be able to film a fun work with romantic-comedy masters Choi Woo-shik and senior Jung So-min. I am also glad to reunite with director Song Hyun-wook, with whom I worked on 'Geumsujeo' in the past. I will help make this an enjoyable production."
Moon Seung-yu recently received praise at home and abroad for his role as Abisu, the Ming dynasty's representative royal chef known as the "Sichuan cuisine fairy," demonstrating excellent cooking skills in the recently concluded tvN series "Bon Appetit, Your Majesty." After the highly popular "Bon Appetit, Your Majesty," attention is turning to Moon Seung-yu's performance in "Would You Merry Me."
The SBS Friday-Saturday drama "Would You Merry Me," featuring Moon Seung-yu, will premiere on the 10th at 9:50 p.m.
