On Thurs., the MBC show 구해줘! 홈즈 (directors: Jung Da-hee, Nam Yoo-jung, Heo Ja-yoon, Kim Seong-nyeon / hereinafter "Homes") will stage the third campus scouting edition, pitting Yonsei University against Korea University and Korea University against Yonsei University in a scouting showdown.
This episode, the third campus scouting edition following Seoul National University and KAIST, features a scouting showdown between Yonsei University and Korea University. Among the many fall festivals, there is a traditional rivalry, a friendly event the two schools hold every fall. After the first matchup in 1927, the two schools were promoted to universities in 1946, and in 1965 the foundation for the Yon-Ko games and Ko-Yon games was completed, according to reports. Park Na-rae introduced the segment saying, "To mark the 60th anniversary this year of the two schools' sports rivalry, we will stage a scouting showdown between Yonsei University and Korea University."
Yonsei vs. Korea University, Anam vs. Sinchon scouting brings together Yang Se-hyung, Yang Se-chan and broadcaster Sam Hammington, reunited for the first time since the new semester special.
The three walked along Baekyang-ro, the heart of Yonsei University's Sinchon campus, noting, "It's about 550 meters from the main gate to the main building, and buildings are lined on both sides along Baekyang-ro." They interviewed members of Yonsei's soccer team. The students named Yonsei alumni athletes such as Seo Jang-hoon, Kim Min-jae and Son Yeon-jae. In response, the Korea University team said, "Korea University also has Cha Bum-kun, Hong Myung-bo and Kim Yuna," escalating the rivalry.
Yonsei's athletic students said that the soccer, rugby, basketball, baseball and ice hockey teams live in one building and that dormitory fees are fully covered. They introduced the inside of Yonsei's athletic dormitory using a self-camera.
While touring various parts of the campus, the three were drawn to the appearance of Lee Na-yeon, who gained attention after appearing on the dating reality show "EXchange 2." Lee Na-yeon said, "I am a class of 2015 student at Yonsei University. I appeared today as support for the Yonsei team." Lee Na-yeon showed them the main building, the Yun Dong-ju memorial and the student cafeteria, and as a former Yonsei publicity ambassador she answered all the lingering questions about Yonsei, raising anticipation for the broadcast.
Meanwhile, Sam Hammington said he is sensitive to music coming from the open-air theater and complained that when he is at home the music sounds too loud so he has to keep the windows closed. When Yang Se-chan shouted, "House prices! House prices!" he suddenly changed his tone and said, "You can enjoy singers' performances for free from inside the house," drawing laughter.
Later, they scouted a goshiwon in Yeonhui-dong located at the north gate of Sinchon and an officetel at Sinchon's main gate, introducing the pros and cons of the two places.
