No Brain's Jung Wooyong is leaving the band for health reasons.
On the 30th, No Brain announced via its official account that "No Brain's bassist Jung Wooyong is leaving the band due to health reasons and personal circumstances."
They added, "We express our deep gratitude to Jung Wooyong, who has been a great support to No Brain for a long time, and we sincerely support the new path he will walk going forward. We also wish him a speedy recovery."
They continued, "No Brain will continue upcoming schedules with session musicians. We deeply apologize for causing concern with this sudden news."
No Brain is one of Korea's first-generation punk rock bands, composed of vocalist Lee Seong-u, drummer Hwang Hyun-seong and bassist Jung Wooyong. Earlier this February, guitarist Jung Min-jun left for personal reasons, and the band had continued as a three-member group, but with Jung Wooyong leaving the team due to health issues, it has provoked sadness.
