Actor Lee Jang-woo's recently revealed surprise wedding photo spread is becoming a hot topic among netizens. Unlike traditional wedding concepts, this shoot tried a "military wedding look," attracting attention, but it has unexpectedly divided opinions sharply.
On the 30th, Lee Jang-woo posted on social media, "Everyone~ I'm getting married!" along with wedding photos taken with his fiancée Jo Hye-won. In the photos the two stood wearing military caps side by side, the groom paired a suit with combat boots, and the bride matched the same combat boots with her wedding dress, creating an unusual atmosphere. Jo Hye-won's bright smile in particular added to a cheerful and affectionate mood.
But the unexpected concept sparked a heated debate online. Some netizens left rather harsh comments such as "Military with a tuxedo is a bit much" and "the worst photo spread." Others responded positively, saying, "As long as they're happy," "It seems like a unique and memorable wedding photo," and "You can feel the couple's smiles just by looking."
In fact, actress Ha Jae-sook congratulated them, saying, "The very pretty and kind Hye-won—may she and Jang-woo be happy for a long time," and comedian Kang Jae-joon left a joking comment, "You wouldn't actually wear a tuxedo military outfit, right?", drawing laughs.
Earlier, Lee Jang-woo experienced disappointment last year when he closed the curry specialty restaurant Garae that he had run himself after about nine months. At the time he candidly said, "There were many comments that the taste was changing, so I wasn't satisfied myself."
